Requirements
In order to receive a professional certificate from the Center for Professional Development, students must:
- Meet all application and admission requirements and be formally accepted into a program.
- Complete all program course requirements as specified at the time of their admission.
- Successfully complete the program within five (5) years of enrolling in the first course. Because of the rapid change in technology, students enrolled in the Desktop/Electronic Publishing, Information Technology, or Interactive Multimedia & Web Design Program are only allowed two (2) years to complete certificate requirements.
- Complete each course with a minimum grade of "C," and complete all certificate requirements with an overall grade average of no less than "B."
- Settle all financial obligations with CPD.
- Submit a completed "Certificate Application Form".
Graduation
Near completion of a certificate program, each student must submit a completed Graduation Application Form to the program staff. For more information or to request that a form be faxed to you, please call (202) 572-5700.
