Payment is expected at time of registration.
In-Class Tuition is $550 per class
Distance Learning Tuition is $450 per class
Upon completion of a registration, a registration confirmation will be sent to you. Please review it carefully. Questions concerning any discrepancies should be directed immediately to Customer Service at (301) 583-8427 or (877) 498-4477.

Methods of Payment
Payment must be received prior to the start of a course.
Payment may be made by check, money order, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover or employer voucher that is not contingent upon the receipt of a letter grade.
Checks & Money Orders
Checks and money orders should be made payable to AQE and mailed with your registration form. Include your Student ID Number (SSN) in the upper left-hand corner of the check or money order.
Employer Vouchers
(Includes: Letters of credit (must be on company letterhead), DD1556, 182, and purchase orders.)
Employee Vouchers should include the student's name and Student ID number, as well as the name and dates of the courses for which the voucher is issued. In the event the employer agrees to pay only a portion of a student's tuition, the student is responsible for the balance.

Class Withdrawal / Refund
- If a student withdraws 7 days before the first day of class, refund is 100% of tuition minus a $35 withdrawal fee.
- If a student withdraws the day before a class starts, refund is 50% minus a $35 withdrawal fee.
- If a student withdraws after the start of class, no refund is granted.
Student may transfer full tuition credit to another course or class date. This credit must be used within one (1) year of the date that payment is received.
Payments made by credit card will be refunded to the same card. Credit card companies usually require 5-10 business days to credit the refund to the account.
Distance Learning Courses
All Distance Learning course registration transactions are final upon completion of the enrollment transaction. No refunds will be granted.
Past Due Accounts
AQE bills monthly for all unpaid balances. Past due accounts will be financially encumbered and subject to 1.5% monthly interest charge.
Past due accounts are financially encumbered. Therefore, grades, future registration privileges, transcripts, certificates, or other academic information will be withheld until the account is settled.
Returned Check Policy
Returned checks will be charged a $35 fee. If the check is not paid within 15 days, the student's account will be placed on hold with the same restrictions and penalties as for late payment.
Cancelled Courses
Circumstances may make it necessary to cancel courses. Please consider this possibility when making any hotel and transportation arrangements, as GWU and AQE cannot assume responsibility for such expenses. Tuition and fees for any courses canceled by GWU will be refunded upon request.
Financial Aid
Because the Event & Destination Management Programs are non-degree programs, federally funded student loan programs are not generally available, and these programs are not eligible for deferment of such loans. Please contact (301) 583-8427 or (877) 498-4477 for more information.
Veterans Benefits
Veteran's benefits are available for the Certificate Programs in Event Management and Destination Management. Contact the Veteran's Benefit Office at (202) 994-6620. Students seeking benefits under the Montgomery GI Bill should contact the Veterans Administration at (800) 827-1000.
